Sources & notes
Bambu Lab PLA Basic (PLA) lists a nozzle temperature of 190–230 °C, a bed temperature of 35–45 °C, drying in a blast oven at 50 °C for 8 h, and a print speed under 300 mm/s, according to Bambu Filament Technical Data Sheet V3.0 (https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0584/7236/6216/files/Bambu_PLA_Basic_Technical_Data_Sheet_bf3411ce-be39-4db7-9669-1b4671d2196b.pdf?v=1734060943, checked 2026-10-14). The US store page (https://us.store.bambulab.com/products/pla-basic-filament) does not list those temperatures. It does say the filament is AMS compatible and that parameters are stored in RFID. The Open Filament Database left nozzle and bed empty (dataset verified date 2026-10-13).
Dataset verified date 13 October 2026 for the Open Filament Database record. Manufacturer page checked 14 October 2026.
The US store page does not list a numeric nozzle or bed temperature. The numbers are from the technical data sheet.
The store page says the filament is compatible with all AMS series and that print parameters are embedded in RFID.
Drying on the data sheet is a blast oven at 50 °C for 8 h. The same sheet also lists the X1 heatbed at 60–70 °C for 12 h.
Glass transition temperature 60 °C. Heat deflection temperature 57 °C at 0.45 MPa and 54 °C at 1.8 MPa.
